Each year, the Museum organises various exhibitions, fulfilling its function to disseminate history, art and the world of culture in general, and turning it into a living and dynamic institution which gets close to the visitors.
In these exhibitions, materials from both the Museum’s own permanent collection and from other institutions are presented. Various panoramas of the current state of art and culture, both in Spain and, more concretely, in Galicia are also offered. Our links with other geographical areas, in particular Latin America, are not forgotten, and all of this is the fruit of the latest specialised research.
As well as exhibitions created within the Museum itself, it also presents other itinerant exhibitions, organised by other institutions with which there are collaborative agreements.
