In addition to all the material testimonies of the past in the area of art and history that can be viewed in the exhibition rooms or are deposited in the reserve collections, the Museum has a rich legacy of bibliographic and documentary collections which, as well as aiding the development of the institution’s research function, are open for consultation by all researchers who require them.
The research room where these collections can be consulted is in the extension of the Fernández López Building, at number 2 Pasantería Street.
Opening hours: from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 2 pm, free access.

In ATOPO you will find the collections of the Museum of Pontevedra, the Documentary and Bibliographic Heritage Service, the municipal archives and other public and private institutions in the province of Pontevedra.
ATOPO is a website where one can search for information resources in the document, book, map and audio-visual collections of the Museum of Pontevedra, the Documentary and Bibliographic Heritage Service, the municipal archives and other public and private institutions in the province of Pontevedra.
ATOPO is a live project where new records are added on a regular basis. A large part of these collections are digitised.
